Surface preparation is critical.
Clean the substrate and remove dust, oil, grease and loose material before application. For unusual plastics, coated surfaces or critical applications, perform an adhesion test first.

Choose clear silicone when you want the seal to blend into the application.
Choose white or coloured silicone when you want the seal to match the surrounding surface.
A clean application starts with good surface preparation.
1. Clean the surface
Remove dust, oil, grease and loose particles.
2. Make sure the surface is dry
Moisture can affect adhesion and curing.
3. Prepare the cartridge
Cut the nozzle to the required bead size. Load the cartridge into a suitable caulking gun.
4. Apply a continuous bead
Apply steady pressure and maintain a consistent bead. Avoid leaving gaps.
5. Tool the sealant
Smooth the bead while the sealant is still workable.
6. Remove masking tape
If masking tape is used, remove it before the silicone skins.
7. Allow the sealant to cure
Avoid disturbing the joint during the initial cure.
Tack-free time of approximately 10–15 minutes and a full cure of around 24–48 hours, depending on conditions and joint thickness.
Mask both sides of the joint before application.

Prepare the Surface:
Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and completely free of dust, grease, or loose particles.
Apply the clear Silicone Sealant:
Load the cartridge into a caulking gun and apply a steady, consistent bead along the joint or area to be sealed.
Smooth the Sealant:
Use a silicone finishing tool or your finger dipped in soapy water to smooth the bead and achieve a clean, uniform finish.
Curing:
Allow the sealant to cure according to manufacturer guidelines. Full cure generally takes 24–48 hours, depending on temperature and humidity.
