Supex 577 is suitable for sealing and locking metal threaded connections across a wide range of systems and industries. It is commonly used in hydraulic and pneumatic lines, heating and cooling pipelines, and gas or water fittings. The product performs exceptionally well on stainless steel threads and is widely used in industrial machinery, automotive assemblies, and professional plumbing installations.
Ensure the threads are thoroughly cleaned using a degreaser such as Supex SF 7063 or an equivalent product.
Apply a continuous bead of Supex 577 to the male threads, making sure the adhesive covers the engagement area.
Assemble the parts and tighten to the required torque.
Allow the sealant to cure for 24 hours to reach full strength. For passive metals or faster curing needs, use an activator to accelerate the process.
