Silicone Potting for Electronic Protection

Electronic components can face moisture, dust, vibration, temperature changes and mechanical stress during operation.

SUPEX 2210 silicone potting provides an elastic protective layer around electronic components. After curing, the material acts as a shock-absorbing buffer while maintaining stable mechanical and electrical properties across a wide temperature range.

Easy 1:1 Mixing

SUPEX 2210 uses a simple 1:1 mixing ratio by weight or volume for Components A and B.

After thorough mixing, the material can be vacuum-degassed during the pot life and applied to the component. For large-volume potting, the TDS recommends pouring in stages.

Curing Options

• 60°C: approximately 30 minutes
• 25°C: approximately 10 hours

Working time at 25°C is approximately 50 ± 10 minutes, based on 100 g of material.
